Solider Arrested for Possession of 100 Pounds of Explosives

An Army Special Forces soldier was arrested on Monday after a pair of hunters found about 100 pounds of explosives outside his home near Fort Campbell. The Army did not release the rank or age of the soldier. However, the Army did identify the soldier as Timothy Ryan Richards. Richards allegedly possessed about 100 pounds of explosives and two unregistered firearms . Richards appeared in Federal Court on Monday. A federal public defender was appointed to represent him.
